Our History
Global M&J is a family-owned supported housing provider, driven by a deep commitment to offering safe, stable accommodation and 24/7 care for individuals aged 18 and over.
The company was founded on the lived experiences of the Ponsianos family, who migrated to the UK in the 1990s in search of greater opportunity, a journey shared by many immigrant families. Through years of working in social care and support services, they developed a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by vulnerable individuals, especially young immigrants and care leavers.
This first-hand insight, combined with their compassion and determination, inspired them to establish Global M&J, a service that not only meets housing needs but empowers individuals to thrive through safety, dignity, and personalised support.
Our Story
The Ponsianos family’s background in social work, education, and community support equipped them with the skills, insight, and empathy needed to turn their shared passion into a mission.
Through their professional experiences and lived reality as immigrants, they became acutely aware of the challenges faced by young people, especially young immigrants navigating life in a new country.
Many of these individuals struggled with access to secure housing, consistent care, and educational opportunities. Determined to be part of the solution, the Ponsianos family established Global M&J — a safe, supportive space built to empower those in need.
Founded in 2019, Global M&J is the result of five years of careful planning, preparation, and resource-building. Visionary co-founders Jolly S. Brown and Monica Kembs worked tirelessly behind the scenes to lay a strong foundation — ensuring that when the time came to launch, the organisation would be ready to provide truly comprehensive, person-centred care.
Global M&J isn’t just a service — it’s a long-held vision, brought to life by people who have lived the journey, understand the need, and are deeply committed to making a difference.
Asylum Seekers
Global M&J is a family-owned supported housing provider with a deep commitment to offering accommodation and 24/7 care for individuals aged 18 and older.
The company’s origins are rooted in the Ponsianos family’s collective experience. Having migrated to the United Kingdom in the 1990s in search of a better future — a journey shared by many immigrant families — the Ponsianos family has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers. Through their experiences in various support and social service roles, they recognized a critical gap in care for young immigrants and became driven to address the unmet needs of this demographic.

Office Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
For emergency referrals outside of office hours, please call the Service Manager at the same number.
We ensure that all necessary assessments are completed promptly and to the highest standard.
