Our History
Global M & J is a family-owned support housing company with a profound commitment to providing accommodation and 24/7 care to individuals aged 16 and older. The company’s origins are rooted in the collective experience of the Ponsianos’ family, who migrated to the United Kingdom in the 90s’ in pursuit of a better future, similar to many other immigrant families. Their shared history of working in various support and social service roles, coupled with their understanding of the challenges faced by young immigrants, compelled them to address the unmet needs of this demographic.
The Ponsianos’ family’s background in social work, education, and community support furnished them with the necessary skills and empathy to embark on their mission. They recognized that young immigrants often encountered significant challenges in adapting to their new environment, which included the need for secure housing, supportive care and access to better education. With these insights, Global M & J was established, driven by a clear mission to offer safe and nurturing accommodation to young immigrants in need of support.
Established in 2019, Global M & J is a company that meticulously prepared for its market entry. Over the course of five years and thorough planning, the company’s visionary founders, Jolly S..Brown and Monica Kembs have been able to strengthen the company’s resources and ensure a robust foundation for offering comprehensive support upon its launch.
