Housing and Support Options Available
Global M& J Ltd offers a diverse range of support and care services. These are listed as follows:
24-Hour Supported Housing
This service provides housing and support for looked-after children and young people aged 16 to 25, including those leaving care, unaccompanied asylum-seeking youngsters, and teenage parents. Our semi-independent homes offer more than just places to live. They bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood, preparing a young person to face the hardships of living alone.
Our houses have airy, bright, and comfortable communal areas, televisions, group dining facilities, and pleasant outside spaces with BBQs and garden seats. Young persons can lock their bedroom doors to maintain privacy; nevertheless, personnel have access to rooms for searches, and the young person is informed of this.
All help is tailored to each person’s specific requirements via a structured care and support plan, encouraging them to take charge of their life and work towards their unique goals. Support focuses on eight areas:

Support hours range from 1 to 15 hours, depending on the particular Pathway Programme designed by the Young Person’s Social/Key Worker.
Stand-alone Outreach Support hours in our standalone environments range from 1 to 40 hours and are determined by the Young Person Pathway plan, which is agreed upon with their designated Social Worker or personal adviser. Global M& J Ltd has access to a studio or flat property portfolio, we can satisfy LA’s referral needs in terms of placements, and we will link personnel to key work young people to ensure that they can begin to create constructive relationships.
Floating Support
Floating Support is offered to qualifying young people who currently have housing but require assistance in transitioning to independent living. Our key workers will meet with the young person for scheduled activities and sessions to assist them develop life skills and gain confidence.
Our lodging
Our properties are meticulously crafted to guarantee the mental and physical welfare, as well as the safety and protection, of our youth. A young individual’s residence should provide a hospitable setting, particularly in the context of shared living arrangements that include common areas and outdoor spaces. This allows young people to interact and establish connections with their support worker and fellow housemates. On the other hand, a young individual’s bedroom serves as their personal refuge for secluded space, with certain residences providing attached private bathrooms.
OUR HOUSES
We check the proposed location against relevant laws, rules and requirements, making sure that all safeguarding procedures, Local Area Risk Assessments and statements of purpose are followed, to make sure that it meets all the needs of the young people’s home setting. All of our homes are fully furnished and kept in the best shape possible. At all of our homes, we want to go above and beyond what is expected in the business. LIVING WITH OTHERS When the young person moves into their new home, we have a welcoming and educational induction plan to make sure they know their rights and responsibilities as an individual and as a part of the home’s community, as well as the rules of the home and how to get to nearby services and amenities. Under the direction of the local Support Workers, they are told to respect and keep personal and public areas clean, and to work towards making the home a peaceful place for everyone to live.
